Book your tickets now to avoid disappointment!
Everyone aged two and over must have their own ticket. It remains the responsibility of the parent/guardian in advance of purchase to make their own judgement as to the suitability of the show for their own child.
The performance is 50 mins with no interval, followed by a 15 minute post-show ‘meet and greet’ with the dinosaurs after every performance. As this can get very busy, please ensure that younger children are kept close to you.

HOW TO GET TO THE VENUE
The theatre is just a 10 minute walk from Baker Street underground station.
Plan your journey by visiting tfl.gov.uk using postcode “NW1 4NU” as your destination.
WALKING DIRECTIONS FROM BAKER STREET TUBE STATION
Exit Baker Street underground station onto Marylebone Road (the A501) and turn left. Keep walking past Madame Tussauds and at the next set of traffic lights turn left into York Gate. Continue across the traffic lights and follow York Bridge to the end until you reach the Inner Circle. In front of you are some large gates into Regent’s Park. Pass through these gates into the park and keep walking straight. After a short while, you will see the theatre on your left. Entry to the Open Air Theatre is via the box office in Queen Mary’s Garden within Regent’s Park. Following the performance, all audiences leave via the Theatre Exit Gate onto the Inner Circle.
Every theatre performance is unique, but this is especially the case at the Open Air Theatre where both the stage and entire auditorium are uncovered.
Each visit can be distinctly different as the weather and light spontaneously interact with the play. Warm or cool, clear or overcast, the point at which dusk turns to night, being outdoors adds a thrilling contribution to our work and is an integral part of your experience here. Some of our audience’s favourite memories have been of the sun breaking through the clouds during the show whilst some of the most electric performances happen in the wake of rainfall.
It’s best to come prepared for all types of weather: bringing your own shade in the afternoon is particularly important as is a jumper for the end of evening performances. So sun hats, sun cream, sunglasses, raincoats and rain hats should all be considered. Although the vast majority of performances are completed each year, as the auditorium and stage are completely uncovered, we may have to stop and re-start the show.
On rare occasions, it will not be possible for us to complete the performance, but we will never cancel a performance before the advertised start time. This is because you would be amazed how often it can rain all day and then clear up just in time for the action to start and indeed, how localised bad weather can be. Also we really don’t want to disappoint anyone – audiences or our actors (who are always keen to perform, if at all possible).
Please note that films and one-off live music and comedy shows are never cancelled because of the weather.
Tickets are non-refundable in the event of cancellation because of the weather but may be exchanged in accordance with our policy set out in our Terms and Conditions. Please see full Ts & Cs at kxtickets.com
When you’re ready to exchange you can either:
(a) use the weather exchange postcard which will be provided to you at the venue in the event that a show is cancelled;
(b) complete the online form available at weather exchange form; or
(c) write to: Weather Exchange, Regent’s Park Theatre Ltd, Stage Door Gate, Open Air Theatre, Inner Circle, Regent’s Park, London, NW1 4NU, stating your original booking order number, name, address and preferred date you wish to exchange into.
As you may be subject to additional security checks on your visit to the Open Air Theatre, the theatre ask that patrons arrive early. We appreciate your patience and understanding while theseare taking place.
For your safety and the comfort of all patrons, only one bag per ticket holder, no larger than 36cm x 30cm x 50cm, will be allowed into the theatre grounds or auditorium. Please note that cloakroom facilities are not available. During your visit, please keep your belongings with you at all time.
