DID YOU KNOW?
This isn’t the first time the dinosaurs have been to Berkshire!
In 2016 archeologists flew in from all over the world to visit Bracknell, as construction workers stumbled upon dinosaur remains thought to be over 100 million years old. That’s older than you Juliet! The remains were found at the construction site that is now Bracknell’s Lexicon Shopping Centre, and were said to have caused ‘a frenzy of excitement‘ as archeologists and experts believed it to be a brand new species. They even toyed with the name Lexiconasaurus…
The remains of this new dinosaur were quickly excavated and removed, causing no delay to the building work. Although a full description hasn’t yet been released, lead archeologist Achilles Frolidpayolas said ‘It’s definitely a predator…we think it’s a new species, maybe a mini T-Rex type. Think Dino from The Flinstones…’
Uh-oh, watch out Tamora, Miranda might find a new playmate in Berkshire…
