Puppeteer

Richard trained at Mountview Academy of Dramatic Arts. He is a founding member and Associate Artist of Flabbergast Theatre, with whom he has devised and performed in the critically acclaimed Boris & Sergey’s Vaudevillian Adventure, Perilous Escapade, and Astonishing Freakatorium, at the Edinburgh Festival, Soho Theatre, Pleasance, Old Vic Tunnels, Latitude Festival, Wilton’s Music Hall, The Kings Head, Little Angel Theatre and Shakespeare’s Globe to name but a few.

Richard has directed puppetry for Flabbergast Theatre, the Bolton Octagon, and Plymouth Theatre Royal and acted as puppetry adviser on several productions. He has taught puppetry for Mountview, East 15, the Actors Centre, Pineapple Dance studios, West End Workshops and various schools and community centres throughout the country to puppeteers of all ages and backgrounds.
