Sean Garratt

Sean is thrilled to be making his Dinosaur World Live debut. Graduating from East 15 Acting School, Sean has performed professionally around the world for the last 15 years as an actor, Voice Over Artist and puppeteer- spanning stage radio and screen. Sean has worked with such companies as, The National Theatre of Scotland, The Lyric Chicago, The Globe, Manual Cinema, Theatre Rites, MIF, and National Theatre studios, Little Angel Theatre, to name a few. His acting career has seen him portray a variety of roles, ranging from comedic ‘Henry V' (the boy) to tragic 'The Yellow Wall Paper' (Johnathan).

 

Sean co-developed and stared in, the table top puppet show ‘The Table’ with Blind Summit Theatre in 2011, winning the Edinburgh Fringe First award that year and subsequently toured with the production, both nationally and globally for 7 years thereafter.

Sean has also displayed his skill for puppetry in productions including ‘Boris and Sergey’ (Flabergast Theatre) and Improbable Theatre's 'Tao of Glass', as well as operating large scale puppets in Bregenz Festspiele’s ‘The Magic Flute’ and the 2012 Olympic Opening Ceremony directed by Danny Boyle.

 

Continually finding ways to refine his talents, Sean has recently expanded his puppet training further and graduated from the highly acclaimed 'Curious School of Puppetry' in the beginning of 2023.
